Today I got to shoot my favorite Wedding Venue here in Smiths Grove. Elkins Grove is a beautiful location to say “yes” too. Complete with a pond and a barn in the middle of fields. So if you are planning to get married in 2017, check them out! ¬† . You can also find them on FB.

And the magic behind these beautiful details….? These 3 ladies! (I am convinced they do not “get” their ideas from Pinterest. They put them up there ūüėȬ†dsc_8113

This is Max. I have known this four legged friend and his people for many years now and if he could talk, he would probably call it The Good Life. A life full of fetching sticks and balls, a life of chasing little feet on bicycles and running along his friend who just signed up for another race. A life where an accidentally left open front door was an invitation to explore the neighborhood. Where muddy feet, hairy rugs or bad breath would never outdo the wet kisses, wagging tails and cuddles on the couch.

I imagine his favorite spot is by the fireplace or the foot board of a bed. I imagine him anxiously waiting for the door knob to turn and his favorite people (now all grown) entering the room. Calling his name.

Last week I got to photograph these guys again. Rina and I have taken their family pics a few years ago. Since then, a few more grandchildren came along and Nana and Bob are ready to add more pictures to their walls.

The most precious pictures always happen when no one is looking. So here are some of my favorites…dsc_2640

A couple of weekends ago, Rina and I photographed these folks. Grandma and grandpa, uncles, aunts and cousins came together to create some memories. I am so glad we got to meet you guys and here is your sneak peek:dsc_1495

This week I got to hang out with this young man and his mom. Calvin is a senior this year and loves running. He has quite a collection of medals and ribbons that left my oldest in awe and reminded me of the races I used to run….

So thanks guys for hanging with me. Can’t wait to show you the rest of the pics. And here is your sneak peek:dsc_0622

So what do you run for?  Contact: and I will tell your story!

I have been photographing these guys for many years now and you probably remember my posts from here, here¬†and here. I can’t believe how big everyone is getting. It seems just like yesterday when I folded the twin brothers into a tiny basket to get a cute shot, and soon I will do this again with their newest addition to the family. What a blessing indeed.DSC_6605

This weekend I got to capture this sweet family with their newest addition to the family. He is the cutest puppy ever and keeps mom and dad on their toes:). And what a fun way to create a Christmas card. A tree, sweet kiddos and a puppy! Photographer’s dream come true!

Thank you guys for letting me be part of creating your memories, and here is your sneak peek!

Last Saturday I got to shoot an amazing event. Every year, the Bowling Green Assembly Corvette Club puts on a charity car show to support our local Human Society and Salvation Army. They spent weeks preparing, advertising and gathering sponsors, auction items and volunteers. Members of the club and local businesses give their time and money to love on pets and people while sharing their passion for beautiful cars.

As I prepare to write this, I ask myself what story should I tell? There are so many! There are the car owners and car makers that spend all their time working on amazing cars. The pride and joy of their work is written all over their faces. And it’s contagious!

Then there are members of the Humane Society who love on all those sweet animals, spending their own personal resources to do so.

All kinds of people bid on items they didn’t need nor know how to use (like a guitar), just to raise money. Some people outbid another party, just so they could turn around and give the item to the other person that bid!!

At the end of the day, thanks to the efforts of everyone involved, over $20,000 were raised!

You guys rock!

This week I got to spent a little while with this sweet family. I got to peek into their lives just a few hours after their new baby daughter was born, and I was reminded of how very special this time is. Seeing big sister kissing baby’s nose , getting a shot of mommy yawning after a long night, and watching a proud dad holding his tiny daughter on his knees is just priceless.

Eventually I just had to leave- cause I would have stayed forever. Thank you guys for letting me be part of that. Thank you for taking me back in time to when my boys were tiny and brand new. And CONGRATULATIONS to your beautiful baby daughter! She is precious.

What a great way to spend time with loved ones when living in different places. Rent a house at a lake, take a few days off and catch up with each other. This is exactly what these guys did. Cousins got to play, grandparents got a cuddle and siblings got to goof around like they used to. Sometimes life gets busy with work, commitments and raising children. This is a great reminder that family is forever and we need to find time for each other. And if these faces look familiar you probably remember them from here. Aren’t these boys getting big?

Thank you guys for letting me capture this special time of togetherness. And here is your sneak peek.DSC_1802
